 Alien 3 Wayland Yutani Colonial Marine Themed Company Command Squad

Hi guys, following on from my other Aliens colonial marines themed Imperial Guard, i found this old squad, They have not yet been painted (i REALLY need to get these done sometime) but are still in one of my boxes somewhere.

I wanted to do something aliens themed for these guys, yet not your typical colonial marine.

So what i did was base them off these guys.

These guys are the Wayland Yutani Enforcer Colonial Marines types. We dont see them a lot in Alien 3 itself, they always looked to me like they were wearing cricket pads as armour!

I used a few Kroot shoulder pads and odds and ends, and of course the Hasslefree Pulse Rifles.

I was really pleased with the final result.

What do you think? how would you have done the conversions?

More Early Freehand Painting Skills Attempted.

I remember trying out bronze and Verdigris for the first time on his base. Also it was the first time i tried out freehand, both on his shoulder logo's and the markings on his chainsword.

At the time i was relatively happy with him and he still holds up today.

Showcase: Aliens movie themed Imperial Guard.

Hi guys, i did these guys a long time ago, when i toyed with the idea of doing a full army of them.

I currently use them as proxy space marine scout models as i dont have any.... haha.


Theres about 50 guys in total, some are smart gunners (i shall get updated pics for you), and motion tracker operators but these are not painted. i will put them up on the blog soon hopefully

I know the colours are off from the movie, i wanted to go less obvious olive drab and add a little blue which i thought would be a little more interesting (seems i like blue more nowadays, but i will never again paint ultramarines![Dont quote me on that..])
