 Hi guys, i thought it was time you all got to have a look at Wills Imperial fists. The quality of the painting is outstanding on these guys, and they picked up a well deserved "best painted" at the recent Aftermath Lazerblast 2013 tournament.

Imperial Fists Space Marines Whirlwinds.

Hi guys, yet another "retro" showcase for you this evening, these are my old and long lost (i believe i sold them a good few years back) imperial fists space marine whirlwinds.

I'm almost ashamed to show these as i'm pretty sure they were my first attempts at painting imperial fists tanks and it shows! Theres loads of area i missed when painting these guys, look at all those unpainted white patches! Very naughty! Luckily this is the last of the retro showcases and everything after these is a little more current.

I used a lot of Forge World parts on these Imperial Fists Space Marine Whirlwinds, notably Imperial Fists doors, Imperial Fists front plates and Imperial Eagle front plates and hatches, oh and i also used some Imperial Eagle rear hatches, overall these guys cost quite a lot of money! not a good idea for a first go at painting tanks! as per usual i decided to paint three, and im pretty sure i painted these one at a time rather than factory line like i did the Imperial Fists Vindicators i showed you yesterday.

Of all the Imperial Fists things I sold over the years, I think these are the ones i miss the least. That dodgy painting quality would be haunting me to this day, to be honest i would probably have stripped or just painted over them.

Imperial Fist Vindicators.

 Hi people, Today i am showing you some old Space Marines Imperial Fist Vindicators, I think I painted These Vindicators way back in 2007, just before i Moved House.

Of all the plastic Space Marine Tanks that Games Workshop produce, Aside from the Land Raider, The Space Marine Vindicator has always been my favorite. The Combination of that huge gun, the massive shield on the front and the squat nature of the Space Marine Rhino itself combine to make a lovely looking model.

I'm not sure why i decided to buy 3 Space Marine Vindicators let alone paint them! But those were the days where i would buy 3 of everything. Weird.

These were also part of my Space Marines Imperial Fists army, and possibly these Space Marine Vindicators were my favorite unit in the whle army itself.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing these old models i painted. sadly this was me painting before the days of "weathering" so they look quite clean compared to currently produced Vindicators by various painters!.

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen.

Todays showcase is a sadly small affair, as i've still to get rhough all my old work that i want to get posted up before i move onto the newer stuff! (luckily there isnt a lot left to show!)

Again these are part of my old imperial fists collection/army from around circa 2007/2008.

Showcase: Imperial Fist Space Marine Terminators.

Imperial Fist Terminators.

Hi guys, Another showcase for you, yet again this is some really old work, I actually think these are from 2007, not long after i got back into the hobby after a few years off.

I remember really struggling with painting the yellow on these, and looking back, I really think I shouldnt have decided to paint 10 at once! Maybe 5 would have been a better option...

I do however think the painting still holds up to an acceptable tabletop standard, maybe not display, but definately tabletop.

I think the best thing about these guys is the posing. i really tried my best to get the most dynamic pses i could with the linmited posing options out of the box (without converting)

Imperial Fist Terminator Captain.

Hi guys, Heres an oldie indeed! Around the same time as i painted the Sniper Scouts i was obviously painting an imperial fists space marine army. My HQ was this guy, A Terminator armour Wearing Captain with Storm Bolter and power sword.

I remember this being my first ever HQ model i painted and wow does it show!

I only managed to find a couple of pictures of this gentleman, so i do apologise for the picture quality...

 Imperial Fist Space Marine Scouts With Sniper Rifles.

Hi guys, Today i have managed to dig out some interesting old pictures from my old Imperial fist army dating back to around 2007-2008ish.

Todays showcase will be my old Sniper scouts. I had 3 units of these, each consisting of 5 space marine scouts each. I remember them performing rather well on the tabletop, back in the days where Sniper rifles only required a 2 to hit! Sadly now these same guys would only hit on their ballistic skill, not quite as good!

Sadly these are another set of models that got sold off, i think these ones almost paid for my newest guitar (My Epiphone [Sadly not a Gibson] Les Paul Custom)

I wonder where these guys are now, probably ended up in someones car boot selection or maybe smashed up by someones small children.

Showcase: Imperial Fists Razorback.

Well guys, i have not much to show you on the WIP front today,  as i have been slack in productivity (due to me rebuilding the painting room) i thought i would show you an old piece of mine.

I did this about a year ago when i was going to do an imperial fists army, but due to the popularity of them at the club, i had to pick something else. (i dont like having the same army as other people)

You can see i went heavy with the weathering, i am still undecided if i like it or not. the more i look at it the less i like it, however if i'm just glancing, i REALLY like it. Strange huh?
